Una grande rete è sospesa come una vela a coprire lo spazio centrale, il cuore del museo. La luce di alcuni riflettori ne proietta a terra l’ombra, un reticolo cartografico che allude a un territorio segreto. La rete diventa un dispositivo per rimodulare lo spazio, per smaterializzarlo, per trattenere nelle sue maglie il paesaggio che si genera al suo interno. Senza cesure, collegando e fondendo verticale e orizzontale, alto e basso, viene creato in questo modo un environment sonoro, un paesaggio interiore dove si può sostare, una radura da cui partire per esplorare gli altri ambienti della mostra e a cui tornare costantemente per riannodare sensazioni e pensieri.
A large net is hung like a sail over the central space, the heart of the museum. Floodlights cast its shadow on the ground, forming a cartographic grid that alludes to a secret territory. The net becomes a means of re-modulating the space, of dematerializing it, of catching in its meshes the landscape that is generated within it. In this way, by linking and fusing vertical and horizontal, high and low, without gaps, a sound environment is created, an inner landscape in which visitors can pause, a clearing from which they can set off to explore the other settings of the exhibition and to which they can return constantly to knit their sensations and thoughts together again.
